Female Varls?
Is there any? It would be cool to have a female varl archer with your heroes.

Dont hold me to this but i dont think that female varl exist. They are all "male" and just kind of made by the gods rather than born.

Could be wrong.

Further, though I hate to be crass I have to add that I dont think varl have any err... "sexual equipment". They appear male to human sensibilities but I dont think they are packing any heat down there if you know what i mean. In other words its not really correct to call them male either, they're just varl.

It would be cool in the sequel to have some sort of non-archer warrior woman, for variety.

There are no more Femal Varl from what i understand. There is a point in the game were the "varl landmark" archivment comes into play. He tells you about it. :Raider:

I just crossed the Hadrborg Godstone.. I'm just gonna spoiler-quote the text:
"The little you know about Hadrborg is that he was a disciple of the Loom Mother, and learned to create under her guidance. He created a few beasts but soon became bored with simple animals and began combining man and beast, ending up with varl. That's the myth, anyway. One thing is certain, each varl alive today was created by Hadrborg, and now the god is dead. The varl here now are the last ones that will ever exist. A profound sadness washes over you."
So they don't reproduce. Every varl was created by the god Hadrborg.

Well, Hakon is only put in charge (early in the game), because he is Vognir's "kendr". Would that mean, they were created in the same badge? lol :Raider:

Obviously, you become kendr for deeds, not birthright.

Just realised that you can make a joke about a little girl wanting to marry a Varl... That has some pretty disturbing connotations, but could actually be something signifcant.

Varls are similar to Ents, there are no women so their number is decreasing

Ent-Wives were a thing in Lord of the Rings (I think they'd left Fangorn somewhere in history?)

But Varl women are not. They have no biological means of reproduction. I'm not sure any of the varl ever describe themselves as male either, they just look like men 'cause of the beards.
