Gay, Lesbian or Bi Characters?

Has anyone who's played this noticed if there are any gay/lesbian/bisexual characters in the game? Cool if so, not the end of the world if not. Just something I'm curious about.

Why should it matter if there are any characters of whichever sexuality? The game is about killing dredge and not starving to death. The characters are bleeding out on the snow for what seems like 90% of the game. They could all be gay or bi or straight it makes no difference to the content and shouldnt make any difference. Bioware romance in previous games was cringeworthy at best and best skipped irrespective of your sexual preferences.

It doesn't matter, but the OP asked anyway because he was curious. The bigger question is why does his question offend you so much? Because from a rational standpoint there is nothing to be offended about.

You can point out that it's a silly question (like I did in my very first post in this thread), but getting angry over it and calling him a troll? That tells me you've got issues.

I have issues about people starting fighting on the forums and then feigning blissfull ignorance , not whether they masturbate to pictures of naked Dredge or not.

We live in a society that is oppressive towards and ignorant of homosexuality. Its understandable then if some people get excited about seeing someone like them represented in game. This was true of blacks in the last century. When youve been told from every direction your not welcome its wonderful to find acceptance even in a small corner of a videogame.

He asked because he was curious. You might want to go read up on the definition of curious.

Whether there being gay characters or not in the game mattered to him, he was curious about whether there is. He asked the question because he wanted to sate his curiosity, not because he wanted to trample on your delicate sensibilities.

There is a great cognitive dissonance between religious views and propriety regarding how we should treat each other. Unwilling to abandon faith people have to debase gays until they no longer deserve to be treated as people worthy of respect. His trolling offends me , this is not about homesexuality per say: discussions about politics , religion and sexuality have no place on these game forums as they generate no content and cause nothing but strife as peoples views on this subjects cant really be solved by a forum discussion and posting provocative content when the answer youd get would be irrelevant is effectively badly concealed trolling.

Newsflash! Not everyone has an issue with homosexuality or the discussion thereof.

Therefore, we shouldn't be forced to wear our babygloves in discussion forums simply because some people are bigoted. The very idea that certain topics should be censored simply because some people get their knickers in a knot about them is about as idiotic as it gets. We're well within our rights to make topics about LGBT on these forums if we so wish, just like anyone who doesn't like those topics are well within their rights to ignore them. You don't have to read anything you don't want to, so therefore you don't get to censor whatever you want to either.

And here's another newsflash; seeing as not everyone shares your view that homosexuality is a bad thing, not everyone finds the subject provocative. We can't be held responsible when bigots get angry when certain subject matter is being discussed and I refuse to be censored simply because bigots don't like it being discussed.

If you don't like the subject/contents of a thread, close the tab and move on with your life. Don't have the audacity to call the people inside the thread trolls and then demand they be censored to boot.

Please dont put words in my mouth i never said homosexuality was bad. The topic itself is just one thats provocative as many people dont agree on this religion and politics and I get seriously annoyed at people provoking others on the forums irrespective of the topic as it holds no value to the main topic of the game.
