Heraldry?

Searched the forums a little, didn't find anything..

What exactly does the "heraldry" option in the main menu do? Other than bring up some banners that take ages to load?

I was going to post the same right now.

For now its seens merely a 'thank you' for backes- and im pretty sure those banners will unlock on the Factions (the f2p multiplayer brother game of BS) for those backers as well. But what and if it will have any use on chapter 1 im clueless and curious as well.

It changes the little flag next to your tent in the camp screen.
