Boss scaling off own Level?

So I just read that the event Dragon scales with your grade level. Is that also the case with other story mode bosses specifically Octonarus?

i would say yes, while abyss 2 might be scaled different, typically level 30-50 is abyss 2 level grades NG+ higher difficulty.

Yeah, but is it fixed to a minimum level and scales if you are above said level. Or is it just fixed to a set level for NG and NG+

I Play on phone, from what I've heard it scales on MC grade (no, iron, bronze, etc)

Yes, to a grade. I make mistake to getting highest grade(at the moment) and get absolutely REKT.

Yea I think I made a mistake too. Octonarus is kicking my ass because my party and mc are now between lvl 41-44.

brand newby here does this mean i should just forgo grinding and go strate for the story/bosses and exploration? im currently under the level of 10 ingame.

No, you unlock a limit break feature called 'Grade Up Exams" when you hit level 20. The game doesnt look at your level, just at the highest Grade you party member is.
Explore and grind as much as you want

I stayed at L40 for a long time, then you accumulate XP (tons in Ship area farming chests) then after AB2 cycles you can go straight to 50. AB3 is still hell at 50 tho, without decent gear and strategy

Earth Den farming is also something that can make AB2 a lot easier. Strong element = Earth
