Are you even at the correct forums?
Or are you people just trolling.
There are plenty of online games that save data either to a cloud of some kind or even some character data locally.
The fact that there is no proper login on server side to save FROM THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GET-GO is a massive oversight and will result in a lot more people losing their data for uninstalling the game.
Since it's online (even though there are literally zero multiplayer features beyond looking at a friend's party), you'd think they'd have saves automatically tied to your steam account like MOST OTHER ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ONLINE GAMES ON STEAM THAT DON'T REQUIRE YOU TO LOG IN.
I can't tell if you're trolling or have just never played an online game on Steam before.
I love the game and played it on mobile, previously, but my friend quit due to the lack of them tying data to your account. If you uninstall an online game, that shouldn't erase your data along with it. That is not the standard, and it never will be.
and this game dont have that kind login and password thing
If people think logically the first thing you should do is looking for way to get your account again before uninstalling duh.
Just linked mine to mobile, and it did indeed say "Phrieksho", which means it links to your Steam account, automatically (like the vast majority of games that just use Steam for login). UNLIKE the vast majority, however, it doesn't STAY linked when you uninstall it. I've never seen that occur for any other online game I've played on Steam. It's an objectively ♥♥♥♥ choice on their part.
It's you friend choice to not at least save their id.
In other words: Gacha games at their very core are trash in design.
It's absolutely on the developer to disclose that saves will be deleted with uninstalling when they're an online based game. To go against the standard practice of other online games that link to Steam in a game where you could potentially lose out on money spent like that is outright ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ abysmal.
Warped Ones made this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game
yes its trash but if there is money involved it can be restored as long as you have the proof of the transaction. You can even ask for refund if the restoration not possible.
same thing if you lost your steam account its also trash then you dont have any single thing you remember to restore it.
im out.. go cry more your friend account wont be back.
It is the dev's fault, yes. The game automatically syncs to Steam when you boot it up, but it doesn't store any saves on Steam's cloud or your device. The VAST MAJORITY of games that use Steam as the login will save to either the cloud or locally so that players can uninstall and reinstall without losing their progress. This game is pretty much the only one I can think of that doesn't. That is a massive oversight on the devs' part.
Unfortunately for you i think a lot of gacha player prefer that kind of treatment so they can reroll their account until they got preferred starter character. Getting stuck with with unfavourable starting unit because the game automatically bind your account with steam is annoying for those kind of player.
This.
