But on the other hand, Sheli passive to recover MP is very nice for farming as well as a very rare trait(MP pots are rarer then Gems afterall). The Sleep passive, idk enough to say but she doesn't take extra damage from being woken up by physical like everyone else which I could definitely see being clutch. Also her DPS is probably the best in the game from what I heard.
And a pro and a con to consider about Dark Mages.
+ Does not suffer elemental penalty from casting off element spell.
- Does not learn off element spells.
Personally if it were me, I'd use em both. 2 mage line-up is great for farming and can have 2 characters on debuff duty when needed.
Eg. Adam is weak against Sheli and Sheli is weak against Adam.
Yeka > Adam/Sheri
Reasoning:
1. Adam and Sheri are one of the very rare mages that have access to light (for Adam) and dark(for Sheri) spells.
2. Adam can access to Priest class, meaning that he can have the benefits of both classes and spell pools, which would be indispensable in harder contents. Of course this need some grinding and back-to back class changes....meaning luck in sniping class scrolls
3. While Sheri does not have alt class atm, her passives allow you to dive in the abyss for a longer time compared to usual mages. When your usual mages ran out of gas, Sheri can still give some and even more.
Why Yeka priority is above both Adam and Sheri?
1. As mentioned above, her passive can nullify ambushes once in a while. And one failed ambush could meant life and death in some situations.
2. Her other passive allow you to not having hard time in early hell named undead enemies.
3. Yekahas access to low and mid Water spells, in addition to her low to high Earth spells (in addition to her Secret Arts), which will help a lot for some enemies. For the note; Adam only has low to high Light spells (in addition to Secret Arts). Sheri has low to high Dark Spells, but does not have Secret Arts.
4. Just like Adam, Yeka has access to Priest class, means more spell pools in her repertoire.
5. Yeka is Neutral, means that she can be inserted into most party setups
But ultimately, Yeka and Adam can be obtained on normal banner, while Sheri atm is limited banner only.....so do weight your choices carefully.
You will never need to use them more than once and Secret art have more damage than actual La spell
Sheri have actual advantage despite being mage with low elf health pool you can put her in front row. You can also put her in back row and have her inherit attract skill to have pseudo tanker (if not better than actual knight).
Yeka can be inherited to treasure opener since its a thing. But then there is also option to make Yeka actual treasure opener with jean inherit but its much more investment than the former.
I can argue Milana mage better than the 3 option here since she can fulfil 2 role, 3 role if you give her inherit some priest healing spell.
Yeka's passive can be inherited, that's what i'm planing on doing with her and Lana, since i want my group to be all uniques
Yes but it would be weaker though. Idk how much though.
