what does discipline actually "do"?
the description of the discipline skill says "continuously increases each stat"

but when i raised a character's discipline, only their hp, sp and mp went up. their other stats (Str, dex, iq, piety, vit, luc) stayed the same.
i used it on Olive and her's also says "with attack power being increased even further" and her attack power stayed the same.

same with asha, i just raised hers to 3 and she got hp, mo and sp, but her attributes stayed the same.

meanwhile
https://wizardry.fasterthoughts.io/mechanics/discipline-and-inheritance/#inheritance

says discipline gives stat gains.. but doesn't actually say whicn "stats".

unless, str, dex, spd, iq, vit, pie, luc are nkt comsidered "stats" but "attributes"?

i mean, okay, under pros and cons , it says
Con: Discipline is a very low impact per duplicate
Con: It takes a very high Discipline level to have a very noticeable stat gain, with low Discipline levels resulting in largely negligible changes

and it also goes on to say that
Con: Discipline is a static value and will become less impactful as base stats increase due to level increases

so that means it's not even a percentage?

more hp is always a good thing. i won't complain about that, but it's just that it says "ALL STATS" , but it clearly did not raise ALL my stats.

Yes. It does not increase main Attributes(IQ etc). Just lesser stats(like attack power etc) and HP, MP, SP.
Its not really worth tbh unless you are pay to win and can afford plenty of dupes
