And I think event points are fixed for this event, so there's no grinding. Just get 1 time reward for clearing the diffricuty and mission. So you can't clear out the whole store.
Using some spells from multiclass MC (carry a Desert Staff and swap to cast)
And low lv FIG as scroll / potion mule to use Armor Break in back row with Bow
Acid, Power and a few other scrolls are super handy to buff up Full Strike / other big hits required for DPS checks
edit : i figured it out, i had to press the "event" button hidden innthe lower right corner above the inventory button.
thanks for nothing
these things are already overtuned for a full party woth diverse skills and spells. how am i supposed to fight this thing with just 3 fighters?
"it's not overtuned. ."
yeah, your party is cut down to half it's size. cut off from healing skills, relaint on comsumables. have to fight dozens of consecutive battles with hardhitting hp sponge enemies, culminating with an extremely difficult boss that's already a challenge even for a full party, but now you only have 3 characters to do it. . "nuh uh, it isn't that hard, you just suck"
i tried the defend command like other's advice.
I defend, he attacks and does some damage and get opening status, then my next character hits him for 1100 damage, he's still alive.
i defend , defend and now it's RNG hoping he 66% chance attacks a defender and then he uses poison breath. .
so i have to defend again and the counter attack for 1100 damage,
defend, 1100, still alive.
defend, 1100,(4400 total). . still alive.
and then he does "licking lips", getting ready for a big aoe. i defend again and bam, just kills everyone.
beginner mode. . "beginner".
if this is beginner, what are the next 3 difficulty like?
party level 30, we do an average of 200 damage per attack when we use our strongest skills if we try to fight him normally.
if i defend and trigger opening on the boss, i can do 1100, but then the character who attacked has to drop their guard. if the boss hits that one. .
the boss hits for 200x2 damage when i'm not defending one shotting anybody.
i'm confused when you say i need to DPS it down "before it gets too strong", "before it gets too strong?" is there a hidden mechanism where their attack power continuously gets buffed the longer the battle goes?
i can't see how to increase my DPS. I know i'm not optimized. I have steel weapons +10. do i need +20 stuff? but this is just the "beginner" level. how am i supposed to do that much damage?
"oh, but you're just asking to be handheld. . ", no. because if this was a regular normal game, i could sit here and reload my save file and keep trying. the game only gives me 3 chances and then i'm out of tries for the day. there's no room for me to puzzle this out on my own. I need a guide to success.
i just saw a video, someone beat advanced at level 60 and the boss had 7000 hp.
level 60 advanced boss has 7000.
level 30 beginner boss has 5000. . .
unless is this meant for level 60 endgame players?
The highest difficulty meant for lvl 54 because full power strike.
All the diff just DPS check. Kill before killed. Playing defensive there not good since the damage raising overtime.
It's to test the fighter DPS.
Last difficulty teach player to wait and see before attacking. Or they will suffer

because to access it, you need to turn 2 unmarked tags into a lead tag . there's a "swap" menu from inside the training hall, you click on "grade up" and it will show your tags and there's a tiny button that says "owned items", click that and it opens up a menu that shows all the quantities of tags you have and in there is a button that says "swap" to change 2 unmarked ones into a lead one.
then you can attempt the trial from the guild hall requests.
