the main character revive ability is almost impossible to use, the speed of it combined with the tiny circle, i always fail twice before it slows down enough to time it. so if my front row gets aoed and 2 people die, my mc can't even revive them because as soon as i try, i fail and he dies too.
anyway, i made it past, but i thought i was "supposed" to fight them both myself as part of the groundhog day time loop. I ended up failing that anyway, because i forgot to turn in the quest to get the scented satchel and failed the negotiations with Captain Lou Albano.
i'm nit "stuck" anymore, but i still don't know where i' supposed to get the guild tags to raise the character levels and the ores to upgrade my gear without paying real money for them
OBS: you can NOT brute force here as beginner. Most time you have to look at other options as the game itself is about it (and once you can brute force something you may earn 20 gems or something like this).
i am a fan of the Wizardry series, so i decided to give this a try. i really don't want to have to sit here for 3 years grinding just to get anywhere though.
I've been playing 3 months and I have 8 level 60 characters. There is some waiting involved, but it's really not that bad.

There is the bone seller in abyss 1 and 2 and in abyss 3rd a boneman that sells bone too. I guess the sellers are weekly to refresh. Mausoleum people said about every 2 week or something like that?
according to that link, it says i can get them once a month(?) yeah, this is one of "those" games.
it's okay for now, as long as i'm making some kind of progress. i just figured out clas changes and now i'm grinding xp on main character to get him back up to 30.
2 ents + 3 warped ones all at once. . and there's 3 encounters i have to clear one after another all in one go.
i managed to beat the first encounter, but it drained all my resources and there's still 2 more encounters. how is this even possible? i'm level 30 and barely won just the one fight. . and leveling up isn't gonna make it any easier of they just keep on leveling with me.
meanwhile, the one guy above says "oh this game is easy, not overtuned at all. . ." yeah, right.
they sit in the back, behind the warped ones doing poison breath, hits 3 members for 150 damage. poison breath, poison breath poison breath poison breath poison breath poison breathpoison breathpoison breathpoison breathpoison breathpoison breathpoison breathpoison breathpoison breathpoison breathpoison breathpoison breathpoison breathpoison breathpoison breathpoison breathpoison breathpoison breathpoison breathpoison breathpoison breathpoison breathpoison breathpoison breathpoison breathpoison breathpoison breath
and for some reason, these ones can't be stunned so i can't skip their turns
That fight is clearly designed to be done later. I came back and beat it once I had leveled up in Abyss 2 for a while. There's nothing forcing you to do it immediately. Many quests are quite difficult when you first get them. This game is very old school that way--back in the day, if we got slaughtered by something, we knew it was because we were meant to come back later. So come back later.
