How do you do class change for the MC

I'm already at abyss2 and unlocked well of mind with 2 lanterns and when I try to class change it says acquisition via well of mind...

I'm 40 now

You need to unlock the class in well of mind first by taking the skill that allowed you to change the said class.
To take the class specific passive you need right guiding light.
After consuming guiding light you gain skill point you can use to take the passive. The skill point is permanent even if you reset it daily.
Unlocking more fogged area giving more skill point.
Now you can change your class via training menu.

So say I wanna unlock the thief what guiding light would I need? Dex? How would I get that for example

Just a little correction.
Clearing 4th floor of 2nd abyss is not needed, you just need to solve the water trap first. Go back to town and event will occur that guide you to ruins

Ok i looked at the well of mind skill tree and I guess I just missed the warrior. Thanks for the help guys
