I think i need help

My current group is: Berkanan , Lana, MC (wanderer) / Yakaterina, Alice, Iarumas, all of them are level 36 - 38, except Lana that is stuck level 30 cuz i can't find guild tags to grade her up.

I'm currently at the ship after the flood town, and i'm having major trouble with killing those elite fish / succubus, and i don't think a few more levels would do any difference because even my frontliners are getting 2-shoted by them with buffs, i think my main problem is gear, which i have no idea of where to get.

How can i upgrade my team? Should i go back to the first dungeon and do the perfect ending, and max all bondmates before going to the second dungeon? Will this make any difference?

Also, is the dragon slayer effective against those lizard monsters, or only the dragon?

Go to the dungeon(Den of Earth) where you get items for sharpening. Earthen gear also drops in it. It will help you.

Dragon Slayer is neutral vs them but is still stronger then any weapon untill you reach the 3rd abyss.

As for gear, I just farm in the 1st 2 water Way area for blue and purple gear of high * level.
That is untill I reach this area.

Also you can switch MC to fighter at this point. Wanderer I think is useless and stops learning skills at 30 so it's recomemded to switch asap I think.

Oh yea and farming strat is to just go after the chest while avoiding enemies. I actually accumulate more gear quicker this way. Well, the site pretty much says it.
