Wizardry Variants Daphne

Wizardry Variants Daphne

Why did the PC version not release until now?
Who thought of the brilliant decision to release the PC version several months after the mobile version? The whole genre is built upon FOMO so why would anyone wanna jump into the game at this point? Talk about shooting yourself in the foot

Because the studio didn't think the game would have such a success. After the original success the investors gave them a ton of money they used to fix the bugs, and then once most of the bugs were fixed they worked on porting the game to PC.

As a side note, you could've been playing it on PC since the beginning since Android emulators work fine. Lots of people have been doing just that. It simply wasn't on Steam.

Also FOMO people don't matter, they're pathetic and have forgotten how to have fun like a normal person.
It's a single player game, not a competitive MMORPG. Grow up.

I don't see why I would wanna bother playing using emulator when the majority of quality games launch simultaniously these days.

The whole genre is built upon FOMO so that is quite a weird comment to make. Yes it's a single player game but with time limited events and banners and so on. Don't make it sound like it's a normal single player game.

The limited events and banners don't matter in this game. They're clearly an afterthought and you're not missing anything if you don't do them.
Only the main dungeons matter. It's basically a normal single player game.

Those fomo content you said not even good at all tho. Most of the day 1 player skipping them and farming junk instead
*holds junk tightly*

thats just BS , the game isnt that big of a success even now nor was it when they said there will be steam version too , and the timing of releasing this for pc couldnt be worse , gacha game is gacha game no matter what and we wanna gather characters , i started playing 3 weeks ago and that time was good for rerolling and i got most of the chars i wanted after 2 days of reroll , meanwhile those who start playing now will get the ♥♥♥♥ free to play girl in banner now for a month , this was clearly a bad timing decision from the devs no matter how you look at it.

1st time playing a Gacha game or something?
Considering Girls Frontline 2, Snowbreak Containment Zone, Reverse 1999 also had their release long before coming to Steam.
Stop acting entitled if you think Region Licenses is easy business to apply onto Steam and International Ratings Board.

The PC version was announced before the game even released on mobile though.

GFL2 Released on same day PC and Mobile, it was only the steam client that was delayed for some unknown reason. Granted most major titles seem to launch at same time since they know that few people would want to otherwise jump in.

Exactly. This was always the plan and I'm surprised it hit steam so fast. I assumed it would take closer to a year to get here.

They delayed the PC-Steam launch due to prioritizing bug fixing before anything else.
Lol complaining? Just DOWNLOAD it sir. It's a great game. I've been playing on an old Android with no issues and just tried out the PC version today after transferring the data (very easy to do). Other than needing to expand on some of the static graphics for the PC version, this is easily the best Wizardry game ever done and it's way beyond any RPG I've played over the past few years. What is essentially a gacha phone game should not be this good, and you do NOT have to purchase anything. I'm almost 30 levels in and there is no need to do so, though you can.

I really like the presentation/art of Daphne, but that is a big statement.

They really need to improve the PC port for it to get more traction though. They didn't even add a Quit option to the menu. And there's no reason for the image to look worse than on my iPhone. Cloud saves, achievements, even point shop stuff and trading cards (given they have such great art assets) - all of these things will add up to giving this game a chance on Steam.
