Wizardry Variants Daphne

How do I choose where the game resources download?
For some reason, even if my default drive is D:/ for steam games, this game insists on downloading it's resources/cache files in the C:/ drive, is there anyway to change this?

Same problem
this is so dumb :berserk:
I have the same problem, i figured I'd try symlinking it to my other drive, the problem is i dont know the location/name of the resources folder

EDIT: I tried it, the game still asking for free space..

Yeah... For people who have a very small ssd just for their operating system as first drive this pretty much makes the game unplayable.
Seems like an easy fix but I guess we'll see if they'll actually support the pc version properly.

You sadly can't right now, hopefully it'll be a feature soon.

It worked, thanks!:feena:
Yeah just cut and paste the unity and drecom folder into your desired drive/folder.
And if you use powershell for the locallow folder, add this:
New-Item -Path Unity -ItemType Junction -Value "drive:\your folder\Unity"
New-Item -Path drecom -ItemType Junction -Value "drive:\your folder\drecom"

The game uses also the unity folder, also will help with other unity games somewhat, though most seem to now use their own folder for most of the stuff, patches prolly go through unity folder.
Saved up 10GB on my windows drive.

unfortunately it still detects my C drive as its download file despite doing this with the Unity folder and the drecom folder
