RIP Atelier Gacha

The game is a complete success in Japan. There is no need to worry as it has (literally) zero competition in the genre. Wizardry is also as beloved as Dragon Quest in JP.
If i have one problem with Daphne (aside bugs) is the prices or should i say the lack of more pack sales for non whales. There are very few packs worth buying. And I guess there are a lot of others that would buy much more if the prices and packs were cheaper. If devs change/add some few things like add gems to passport and stuffs the game is already good enough to live a long life i guess.

Very true. Those monthly passports are absurd—despite not including daily gems, they cost twice or even three times as much as typical gem subscriptions in other games.

For those who haven't tried the game yet, if the typical light spending options are already pricey, just imagine the premium packs—like the recruitment packs. The good thing is, you can play completely without spending. Pretty much any character works, and signature weapons aren’t necessary. I've cleared all the latest content (prior to yesterdays story update) so far without spending a dime and just relying on enhancing equipments you get to grind for free.

Lol son this is a WIZARDRY game, one of the most influential series in RPG history and with one of the ORIGINAL two devs on the project. There's enough original fan support for it to live a long time.

game has been doing well despite all its bugs since the end of last year any new comers though it is whale city if you do plan on buying stuff but rates are very high for the gacha and the game is totally free 2 play you can play without spending , whales have to grind just like anyone else
I started gathering information on the YouTube channels of Japanese Daphne players when the news came in that the steam version had been re-released.

I learned that many, but not all, were frustrated and continuing to play on the edge.

We also learned from them that many of their guild members were leaving.

Some reported heartbrokenly that they still suffer from the phenomenon of being forced to exit and rewind to a save point.
Force Quit is not the same as the old Wiz reset technique! The app freezes and you have to force quit even though you're getting the best of the fight!

I had hoped these issues would be addressed in the Steam version, but my hopes were dashed.
I force quit Daphne with Alt⁺F4.

Hi there! Sorry, I just saw your message. If you're referring to the Double Ent boss, you don’t have to fight both—it’s mostly just for flex, and it’s really not worth it since they eventually become a trivial random encounter you can stumble upon. Just choose to fight one and move on; it won’t affect the best scenario conditions for the Beginning Abyss. Just focus on progressing—there are more dungeons ahead. 👍

If you need more help, I’d recommend joining the unofficial Discord community if you haven’t already. It’s been very active since launch, and everyone is friendly and willing to help. There are plenty of guides there too~

This game is single server with JP and they are doing localization for more regions even now.

Meaning if all of the Globe stops playing then it will die, other wise it has a wide breath to catch it's audience.

Which is niche as is, most people don't have the constitution for Wizardry games.

its doing well in japan especially with the upcoming Blade & Bastard planned event ppl looking forward too.
if ppl dont know blade and bastard is a wizardry light novel/manga that is getting an anime this year. its big deal cause the last wizardry anime was from early 90s.
I mean Wizardry is more Popular in Asia and more on Japan because we enjoy Old School RPG Dungeon Crawling styles. Makes sense why Wizardry is quite a Niche with Western Audience that they sold off the IP and Publishing rights.

Blade & Bastard seems to be terribly unpopular because you can only pull Gacha 3 times, even though 5 books have been published, and since it is Gacha, there is a chance that it could come off....

Paper comics and e-books have also been criticized for the possibility of not getting the gacha rights depending on where you buy them from the distributor.

Please get the correct information.
