Because Steam reviews are trash. People don't even mention anything about the game. They're too busy crying over which store sells the toy they want to play with.

For 10 bucks you can get Deep Rock a much better coop game that actually has players

it's a good co-op for up to three people. If you enjoy crouching all the way through, shooting aliens in the heads and melee takedowns. There's like 12 maps, and randomized objectives.

You can always run away without finishing any or 1 or 2. But if you decide to go all the way and your char dies, you will have to take new char and save that one with your new. If you fail that too, your char will be locked out for many missions, which is annoying, so gotta git gud with your fav, or diversify and enjoy as many operators as you can.

Personally, I played it with free sub on Ubi in September. Then I decided to buy it. And now that it's on Steam I'm gonna buy it here too. (I'm a hoarder)

What about 2 player coop? Spend a lot of time still playing Ghost Recon Wildllands and Aliens Fireteam... is this game similarly enjoyable for 2 player (and worth taking the DRM Denovu hit?)

Whether it is worth it or not, depends on your taste. I like it. Others don't. Watch a replay or some gameplay video and judge for yourself. I don't quite understand the hate for the game and all the people coming to this forum, just to bash the game.
People seem to have little joy these days and be grumpy, considering them going to forums to bash games, which seems to make them feel better. .

From reading the other posts... it sucks and isn't a SP game. Even seems a bit repetitive and low content for co-op so I'm gonna give it a pass.

i refunded it. if you go to the store and look at it under the sale it shows mostly positive reviews but if you click on it it shows mixed reviews steam needs to get there ♥♥♥♥ together really and yes its a terrible game

I saw that review. It looks like you complained more about the launcher then you did actually review the game.

Not worth it, the combat is not good, the missions are very repetitive and boring. The game is on life support and they will close the servers soon. Don't waste money on this lazy cash grab.
