The base game is easy playing solo, so long as you opt for a stealth approach for most objectives. The enemy spawns and objectives also scale. Some of the objectives are scaled back a bit too much in solo imo, to the point where it can give you a bit of shock at how much more you have to do in a team for the same objectives.

There are weekly and quarterly events, the quarterly events are called Crisis events if you want to look them up (Ubisoft did trailers for each Crisis event). These weekly and Crisis events cannot be done solo, you will definitely need a team to complete these.

It is fine solo but it will be a dead game sitting in your library when they kill the servers, which is what they did for their older titles

Solo seems the most balanced to be honest, when you play with 1 team mater or full team it doesn't seem to matter, but playing solo makes the enemy spawns lower in count so it's actually fun.

solo is great. just stay away from bloaters in case some dumb random blows one up while you're near it.

I played this for like 60+ hours solo (Ubi Connect) on the lowest difficulty and had a ton of fun unlocking operator gear and upgrades. The worst part of solo is the inability to pause, so keep that in mind.
