Before this I have never had this error before in previous versions.
After the Episode 3 update, certain BGM tracks will just cut midway through playing. The first time I noticed it was in the school cafeteria at the beginning of the flashback (i.e. after the initial puzzles as the Grime Soul). In the middle of talking or exploring, I forget which, the BGM would just stop and then resume at a later point, possibly after a sound effect plays.
At first, I thought it was intentional, almost like a "sanity effect" inserted to build tension, but I found upon replaying the recording that the full BGM was playing the whole time yet, somehow, I couldn't hear it during actual gameplay.
Later on, when I started a new game to aim for a new ending, I found a similar bug in Episode 1, confirming it's not restricted to the new content.
The track "Dream Dance" especially seems to fall prey to this, but it's not the only one. Some tracks are completely unaffected.
So, is it just me and the low-end PC I was using, or have others experienced this bug? Does anyone have any leads on what might be causing it?
