Just noticed...
...that Andrew asks Julia to put her hair up in the cutscene that they are together...
The only others that really do that, that are significant in his life is Ashley and his own Mom...

yep the main person deciding if the incest route happens or not is Ashley because Andrew has been in love with her for quite some time but been in pretty firm denial.

he also pretends to have far more nightmares than he actually does, to sleep with her, so yeah, is funny seeing people thinking andrew isn't as obsessed as ashley is. he just gives enough of a damn to cover it up, while ashley can't be bothered to pretend to care about appearances

its not the fact that he tries to cover it up its the fact he has moral guidelines Ashely does not care either way as long as she can have Andrew forever
