Julia is left behind.
Well I think the 3rd (x2) Chapters will talk more about Julia because her existence feels kinda empty now, I mean, the extra content about her promises a more complete character development and even her as a playable character. So the thread is about what do you think will happen with Julia next, what will they tell us?

I feel like she's going to appear again, maybe as a sacrifice or maybe to try to take revenge on Ashley. Since Decay is being worked on first, it could even be that the two endings are whether to side with her against Ashley as Andrew, or choose Ashley and kill her. I feel like those are suitably twisted endings for the game, especially thinking about the preview showing her relationship with Andrew from before the game.

I honestly really want Andrew to kill Julia in one of the routes. It would really show how far he has gone by him definitively getting rid of his only claim to normalcy and fully going the sister-♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ path. Though I don't really know how this would happen, seeing as the siblings have planned to leave for good.

Honestly, I was having a hard time understanding why these third (and fourth) chapters were so long, since it seemed that all that remained were a few loose ends and whichever spiral the siblings would go down, ending with the circumstances of their deaths (and a joke happy ending set in a trailer park, or something).

Barring a couple screenshots of the siblings in alleyways, studio apartments, and convenience stores, all the preview material has taken place in flashbacks, making it seem like a huge portion of the upcoming chapters will have us looking into the past instead of moving forward into the future (maybe a 50/50, 60/40 split), which kinda makes me think there isn't a whole lot "going forward" aside from Ashley hunting down Julia to tie up that little loose end that, honestly, she could've left well enough alone if she had a little perspective.

There is something to be seen there, though. Andrew doesn't care about Julia anymore (if he ever really did... I imagine "it's complicated"), so what does Ashley digging up something she should've ignored in a route where the siblings are drifting further apart do to their relationship? In what way does this straw break the camel's back? That seems to be what this episode is about (and the demon pact, etc).

I'd imagine they mostly use flashbacks in the previews to spark conversations without spoiling too much.

My friend, that is exactly what I had in mind too :drewhappy:, It seems that the next part of the game will be more of a prequel, we'll go towards Ashley hunting down Julia (We know she would, as she has proved before with the 302 girl, no matter what any girl means to Andrew, she'll be jealous.) while most of the game will take place in dreams and flashbacks exploring the teaser content.
Having said that, I think the game, as there's "In theory" nothing else to do, will probably be Andrew and Ashley being almost out of town, buuuuut Ashley wil say something like "I had a dream and turns out we should see Julia again" o Ashley just twisting around the plan to happen to be at Julia's place. :leyhappy:

I think one of the routes (maybe Burial since Andrew will be honest with himself) will have Julia saying she deserves the pain she gets from Ashley because Julia feels she wasn't a good enough person to save Nina; that's why Julia lets herself hear Ashley's messages. This will prompt Andrew to admit that he is the bad person that killed Nina, and Julia doesn't deserve to hurt herself. This will lead to Julia having to face Andrew as an outside perspective on the situation.

I mean, come on, Andrew is the guy that killed Julia's friend, so I expect that to come back around eventually. Chapter 3 seems like the place for it.

Isn't there a way for Andrew to admit he's not perfect and decide that he doesn't have to act as deplorable as other people make him out to be? Isn't the point of this game that the opinions others have on good and bad people/behavior don't have to tell you who you are?

were going to see her a lot now problably, and play with her too, Julia is a character that seems to be between killing her self or not cause its obvious that she tried to cut her wrists when Ashley was threating her, maybe the choice we made in the end of chapter two will be important for the fate of Julia or even the end of the game, but I doubt that she will die at least soo, the devs seems to be working with her a lot

My theory is that through a contrived series of events, they end up at Julia's. Andrew doesn't want anything to do with it, but Ashley, thinking Andrew's rage is over the fact that she makes him do things he doesn't want to, goes ahead and kills her. This pisses Andrew off, and one thing leads to another, and we get the vision of him killing Ashley.

I think the Burial route might have Ashley being able to ignore Julia altogether, or perhaps their closeness will disgust Julia, and Andrew would get pissed at Julia over that, leading to Andrew being the one to kill.

Ofc, then there's the sane route, where Julia would likely be spared overall, since Ashley would feel secure, and Andrew would still have sensible boundaries. I think maybe they will be able to do something to get their lives back on track in this end, since this would be the one end where that seems possible.

I think they'll just have to run into each other out of the blue. Possibly at Andrew's grave, since he is presumed to be dead and Ashley is a risktaker and has a twisted sense of humor.
