I'm hopeful that, in time, we'll see lots of weird, dark, and unusual stories told as the box continues to be opened, crack by crack, by more artists and gamedevs.
And if you feel so inspired, try creating something yourself! I firmly believe inspiration is the most valuable thing you can give someone in life, and I know for many, TCOAAL gave them so much.
You're completely right, after passing through, I remembered that I can write music and draw, and opened my channel on YouTube. Thanks to the game
I certainly hope so, art is never better with limitations. Movies didn't get better with the hays code, comics didn't get better with the comics code authority. We need art to go to new places to evolve especially when it involves topics that make people uncomfortable. Video games especially have to since it such a new medium compared to all the other ones and I'm glad games like this exist. Hell even a game like Stray Gods I'm glad exist and I don't even like musicals because not alot of people do it so it's refreshing and adds variety to gaming
