Bride Combinations?

I'm unable to find much information online that's not giving me a "404 Not Found" message, but what are some of your preferred bride combinations over the generations? I've read that Fyuria, Yayoi, Faina and Silvi lead to the best Hero lineage for post-generation 5 content, but that it's also incompatible with U-Formation. Is this correct? Is the "correct" lineage supposed to be Fyuria, Valeria, Faina and Hildegard?

There is no correct or incorrect combination. You can choose whichever you want. The canon lineage is suppose to be Fyuria, Valeria Faina, and Hilde.

Kind of late, but how am doing it is am adding up the stats for each descendant and the one with the highest result I pick.

The following refers to the metagame of the main game of Record of Agarest War while disregarding the post-game.

Fyuria!Ladius is generally the strongest Ladius for several reasons. Primarily, Fyuria!Ladius benefits from having the most relevant Extended Area for the purposes of Energy stacking; prior to the beginning of the Fourth Generation, Fyuria!Ladius is the only non-Leonhardt unit able to apply Energy to yield +35 collective AP on his turn (this is the second highest collective AP accumulation via the Energy Will Power in the game, with only Leonhardt and Noah!Duran being able to surpass this at +54 collective AP. To compare, both Luana!Ladius and Elaine!Ladius max out at a collective +12 AP gain on their turn. In addition to other advantages he possesses over the other Ladius variants (e.g. Parry, has innate General slots to partake in Execution combination attacks in the mid game), and Fyuria!Ladius is a more prominent unit in the metagame than either Luana!Ladius or Elaine!Ladius. With that said, both Luana!Ladius and Elaine!Ladius do possess their own strengths that prevent them from being outclassed, so it is true to say that all Ladius variants are viable.

Noah!Duran is generally the strongest Duran specifically due to his Extended Area being perfectly synergistic with Leonhardt's. By having 5 total overlapping Extended Area tiles, Duran is able to yield +54 collective AP on his turn due to the Energy Will Power, the highest amount possible. Notably, Noah!Duran is the only Duran variant capable of wielding Spears, allowing him and Leonhardt to Chain Hop effectively to rout enemies. The lineages that allow Noah!Duran to equip Spears consist of having either Elaine or Valeria as a part of the lineage, but not both at the same time, as that will result in a Noah!Duran with Knuckles instead.

Thoma, while not as notable as Ladius or Duran can be in the metagame, is generally a flexible and potent unit regardless of lineage. Similar prospects can be applied to Rex, though Hilda!Rex is notable for having an Extended Area capable of producing +35 collective AP through the Energy Will Power, giving the player a convenient replacement to use should they have been using Duran in the Fourth Generation. Silvi!Rex still has his own slew of advantages that make him a viable option. Ryuryu!Rex has the potential to be a high-damaging magic unit due to strong MAG as well as relatively high base AP.

On a side note, the "canonical lineage" is Fyuria --> Valeria --> Lavinia --> Hildegarde, rather than Faina being the canonical bride for the Third Generation.
