Why I started this project

I've always been a huge fan of arcade racers with some of my favourite 3D ones being the Cruisin, Test Drive, Need for Speed and Ridge Racer series and 2D ones including Micro Machines and Neo Drift Out so making a racing game has always been high on my to do list.

The plan was to re-imagine Ridge Racer as a top down racer, as is natural in game development things have since changed some what from the original idea but thw insane drifts of Ridge Racer have stayed and vibrant colours have remained.

I have been working on the game as a solo project for just over a year now and it's also my first time creating music too, it's a huge undertaking, but also really rewarding.
