-The first 2 parts are easy once you can identify the pattern of the fire balls. I just simply made a back and forth motion between the middle and left platforms to dodge them.
-The poo drops at irregular intervals so you can't simply find one spot and be safe there the whole time. The gaps between each one is pretty large though so if you just watch for where they will be at you should beable to get through fine (also this is the best time to grab health imo)
-I dont have a reliable way to complete the last phase. BUT the strategy I used in the video (if you want to call it that) should work for the first three difficulties if you have 2-3+ health at this point. Get on one of the pink blocks that sit higher up on the edge of the stage (next to the spike block). And as he comes under you just spam fire as fast as you can up into him and hopefully he will die faster then you do (and try to get some shots in when hes on the other side of the stage too).
Autofire would be so damn helpful here.
You're not only person. Because, I got Game Over (I had more, than 30 lives after beating 8th main level during first run) twice on Normal mode thanks to his stage and boss himself. I have no idea, how you supposed to beat it on harder difficulties. I'm not sure, if on harder difficulties - game disables abilitiy to revisit stages. But, there's kinda "Multiple 1-up" trick. I'm still not sure, which stage is easier to get multiple lives at the same time (mostly, cameo characters has them). So, here's trick: pick up some 1-ups, exit stage and repeat process. I didn't touched "Hard" difficulty yet, so I'm not sure about restrictions of harder difficulties.
The last phase is extremely difficult and took me many tries.
40 lives later it finally happened)
Phase 1: Stand on middle, shoot a couple times and jump left over the fireball. Stand on the block before the spike block and spam attack. Once he shoots a second fireball I walk off the platform to duck under it and hop back onto the middle going right of center. Rinse and Repeat.
Phase 2: Do the same as Phase one, just remember to stand near the edge of the middle when you return, sometimes its better to not attack just to dodge.
Phase 3: I hated this phase, like someone said it has no pattern and I died a lot before I got something down. I jump between the 2 platforms below the spike block (not the one block platform) to avoid the bombs, its enough room and if you pay attention you won't get hit. Once he starts going to the other side of the screen I jump to the block before the spikes and jump and shoot. Can usually get two jumps in and hit him 1-2 times before going back down to duck bombs. Patience, dodging and getting a couple hits off is better than praying you'll switch phases.
Doing this I could keep 3 beers to the last phase.
Phase 4: Wow, at first these kicked my ass. I camp the left side again, focus on dodging to get a pattern down. For the most part you can jump the long chain ball on the same platforms you used to dodge bombs. There is a tricky swing he does, I believe its on his third pass where it looks like you have to hop over the ball, but you don't. If you just stand on the platform below the one block he passes by you without damaging you, you just have to jump over it when he passes by again. Again, when he goes to the other side jump up in front of the spike block and mash the attack button. You'll whittle him down slowly and he'll hit...
Phase 5: Two balls swinging. This one is tricky, do the same as above, you will get hit though, but he'll have low enough help that if you can make it to 1 or 2 pass bys you can jump up and spam attack him. If you were good enough at dodging you'll still have the 2 beers left.
That's about all the advise I can give. I can't say much more about Phase 5s pattern because I didn't really study it too much.
Why is the AVGN's gun grey in this video? In my game it is orange.
Until he gets his balls out The Nerd is the best IMO, but afterwards it's just Guitar Guy for me.
