AVGN sucks now

Even in the rare event he makes new AVGN videos, there garbage.

You have to be a total idiot to suggest that he NEVER did this in his videos. In fact, it's one of the things he is best known for. If that is so hard for you to accept, then good riddance with you. You can ♥♥♥♥♥ and moan about him all you want, but that won't stop many fans from playing this game anyway. So I suggest you move on.

Oh god, don't remind me of that... it was soo bad... I mean I've seen worse videos on the internet, but seeing something so bad from one of your favorite content creators is just devastating.

Also something is telling me that the movie he is working on is gonna suck, no matter how creative James is, you need a good crew and actors to make a good movie.
Ashens just released a movie and I am not gonna say that it's completely awful, but I am definitely not gonna watch it again.

well I REALLY REALLY want to see that ET review SO BAD so I will watch it and I am sure its going to be in the movie

and yes Ashens movie was kind of lame but not the worst I have seen especially since it wasn't a high budget movie

I'll check it out, I owe James that much for all the great content over the years but I've not got high hopes. To be honest I never enjoyed the 'sillier' aspect of AVGN such as the toilet humour and when he just had a bunch of crazy characters fighting each other (became abit amaturish). What I loved was James insite into classic games, his passion and just the way he kinda told you a story. One of my favourite episodes was Streetfighter 2010, now that was a review he got passionate about.

Most of the big internet "celebrities" of the mid-late 2000s have toned down their stuff or walked away altogether. Nostalgia Critic has done the same thing as AVGN. You can only run off a gag for so long before it starts to get stale due to a lack of new ideas. The only other options they would have would be to get (more) writers with fresh ideas and hope for the best. But really, I think James is just tired of doing it. Understandably.

I actually like the gaming videos they're doing now. I think Mike is all right. I think it would have been better if he had his own channel though that was linked to Cinnemassacre instead of using that youtube channel as his own.

I hate people like this, calling Mike names. There wouldn't be AVGN without Mike Matei. He has helped with most of the episodes, either filming or acting (he has acted the Joker and the Tiger from Oz). He has also drawn a lot of things, every drawn thing you see in AVGN is made by him. I also really enjoy his videos. Especially 'James & Mike Play' is a really fun show that I like to watch. If you don't like Mike, you shouldn't like AVGN. You guys should stop complaining and just unsubscribe. You are not an AVGN fan.

I can agree with that; James has been doing the AVGN routine for so long now it's understandable he's slowing down, not least because of the movie. I'd actually like to see him hark back to the early videos/years, when it was mostly voiceover work, or at least a mix of that and his facial contortions! I love the more involved scenes and stories he came up with later on down the road, and you could see he was becoming more confident (and generally learning the trade), but the results also meant far more work and planning for each new vid. Maybe a few AVGN 'cheapies' wouldn't be so bad.

Leaving that aside, he comes across as a really likeable guy; I loved watching his movie reviews, especially the horror-related ones dating back through the decades and his top tens. They're something I'd like to see more of over AVGN.
