AVGN sucks now
Since Mike has taken over, AVGN is ruined.
Even in the rare event he makes new AVGN videos, there garbage.

His videos are still good so I preordered the game. At least Irate Gamer isn't getting a game.

his videos are to "forced"
the one with the old guy saying lame ass sex jokes was terrible, I couldn't even finish it

and the gaming with mike recent videos are destroying his channel, I had to unsubcribe.

Let's face it, the days of seeing AVGN kick Bugs Bunny's ass are over and you're never going to see "old" AVGN because you can only do so many games that suck before you get to games with fewer good ideas. James himself has acknowledged that it's harder to come up with great ideas.

But, as a series, I think AVGN is still great. He still finds a way to crack me up. It's not like it used to, but he's still hilarious. I liked the Toxic Crusaders one BTW, wasn't great, but was solid.

Its just a change in direction, nothing lasts forever. James has been working on his movie and doing other projects and Mike has been essentially managing the cinemasacre site. I see this game as the perfect homage to over 100 episodes of pure enjoyment and nostalgia to a series I've been watching for years.

I barely ever visit James site now where as it was once my most visited. It wasn't just for the AVGN videos either, I loved his thoughtful movie reviews and top 10's and actually prefered it when his AVGN videos were less 'vulgar and silly' and more satirical such as the fantastic Castlevania video series review. I find the 'lets play videos' tedius and the recent AVGN episodes are really forced, you can tell James is just doing it for the fans rather than out of his own love/hate for certain games series' or IP. It's a shame, but as I said, things move on.

I noticed that too, his videos are terribad lately, mike is ok, but he isnt entertaining the same way. hes just a guy that plays games nothing wrong with that but its pretty boring.

Last AVGN episode was great imo. Videos with Mike are fine, but I can understand why people hate them, it's better to make second channel for that.

uh nothing like this it was so lame....
he was my favoirite but that title has now went to Ashens.

Nothing wrong with use of bad language but if its just bad language for the sake of it then its almost certainly not funny.
