which in hind sight is a guaranteed 3 star bc the pity is 80
Yeah, I mean, you get a 3*, but even Genshin, which is infamous for how stingy it is, doesn't cuts your source of gacha income THIS bad. Like, this is beyond riddiculous.
I enjoyed the anime, and the beta had me hyping the game up, but after reading some of the reviews...
There's no codes for the game, getting 5/10 pull currency for quests/grafittis feels hilarious since that's not even a recurring income.
The paid battlepass has a total of 10 standard banner pulls.
It's insane, I like the game but if they don't fix the economy FAST it's gonna be dead in 1 month tops.
Now that the game has released, major changes were done to the currency drop rates for players. Chests in the game world no longer drop the 5-20 currency that they did. Now only the spawned blue chests which you get from time to time by solving puzzles or completing game story objectives drop currency and only the lower amount of 5 instead of the range depending on the chests rarity. Before, finishing side quests and exploration objectives would reward the player with currency generously, now you barely get any. The only real way to grind currency now in the overworld is to find graffiti hidden around which rewards you with 5 currency each. There are 100 graffiti hidden which gives you a total of 4 pulls. There have been major changes in currency drop rates in the game since the Closed Beta Test before launch and they are not good.
I played the game for 11 hours, completed the major story elements of the first city and managed to collect a grand total of 30.8 pulls. This includes the free 1200 we were sent in the mail for the bug with the banners at launch and the pre-registration gift. It also includes another 600 in the mail from day 2. Meaning that after 11 hours of non-stop play and finishing the main story of the first city I have grinded a total of 2200 currency or enough for 18 pulls. I have completed all of the side quests up to this point, collected all of the graffiti, opened all the chests, completed all of the puzzles, etc.. The only thing I have left is the Zero book which contains a few hundred currency which would be a long grind just to get maybe a few pulls worth.
The only way left to get currency is to spend money. I will not, this game as it currently exists is Dead On Arrival.
