Account linking?

Is anyone else unable to link their account? Both options are grayed out for me. Can't claim the link account event reward :(

Same here I want to keep my account on Steam. Might contact support to see if this can be fixed.

Also can't seem to link on steam deck, both google and apple logins are greyed out in the account transfer section

edit: oh wait, it seems to be connected to your steam account. Once you finish downloading the data in game, it will load up your account on its own.

But we can't link to Google or apple to receive the event bonus and cross play on mobile

I started on Android, but I want to pick up my progress on my Steam Deck... But the account linking feature is greyed out. I can't select my Google account, just the Password button.

Not sure what to do.

game just launched its normal for bugs like these, I’m sure they’ll fix it before the linking campaign ends

I was able to link my account yesterday. Steam Deck is grayed out so I did it on my PC. You need to download the data first, finish the prologue and have the smartphone menu thingy already unlocked to link.

I was then able to link using google.

I am unsure if this is what was intended or not, but for me I was able to link my account to my google play version by picking the "account transfer" option at the title screen, and this was before I had any progress made with my steam account.

Maybe, since you have progress made on the steam version already, you would need to unlink it from steam and then re-link it to google play? Thats what I can think of, but this is admittedly a weird solution and I would hate for you to lose progress this way

the answer is no (according to their FAQ website). i'm pretty sure it was announced to be the case back when the Deadly Demo took place

But when you try to link your account while playing on a Steam Deck, both options will be grayed out. If you have access to another PC, access your same Steam Account and start up TRIBE NINE. It might look like it's about to create a new account, at first, but after it's all done installing the data, your account SHOULD be there.

Log in, go to the account linking feature, and then link to the platform of your choice. Once you've done this, you can get back to enjoying the game on your Steam Deck and enjoy the bonus Enigma Entities ;)
