Kazuki is not useless though; None of those other characters can end regular fights faster than Kazuki, so you'll still be losing something if you choose him to be replaced.
As of the current situation it looks for me like i will be a Hina main due of her Deflect dmg ability that makes it 100x easier for me to deflect attacks in compare to the dodge mechanic.
The only chars i still miss are Jio and Mio where i could eventually see either of them taking the place of Enoki
Once you start farming for Patimon, there is an argument to be made for replacing Kazuki for Iroha. There's a new patimon stat released called "Shield Expansion", that actually activates Kazuki's card instantly on it's own by granting the user a shield. This does set a timer of 30 seconds for the entire fight until you lose some of the card's crit rate (as you can't reapply a shield, but you keep the additional attacks bonus crit, which you'll get from Miu) but it means you can utilise other characters, it's made Kazuki go from nearly mandatory to more of a QoL pick for longer fights.
A team of Iroha + Hina + Miu gets to benefit from Bombard from a single break on non red limit bosses and deal huge damage before that. Hina isn't a lightning fast breaker but paired with Iroha it's enough to break fast as long as you're parrying on Hina and using her strategy whenever possible.
Enigmatic Fragment is the equivalient of 3* chars when you get them or conversion of 3* TC and you need 500 of those fragments just to buy 1 3* TC.
Here's a video of my gameplay:

Couple months assuming you're pulling each Banner and getting the currency from Fractals and stuff.
Iirc we get also in FV some of those fragments as reward for certain point milestones but that´s only 5 each so even this will take time so as F2P if i would have to guess it would surely take several months just to buy 1 3* TC from the Card Shop
