i need help with leveling up my characters

so i have been trying to beat the shark boss, and a few days ago i did, but the thing is right when i beat it the severs became under maintenance. i did not "beat" shark, then i got the 7600 in the mail, and used it to pull, i got q, and and Tsuruko, (both on my team as trial characters) and now my team is a level 20 Koishi, level 7 Q, and level 1 Tsuruko. and i don't really know how to get level up materials, can anyone help me? sorry :(

Need you to be specific on which materials you having trouble getting but you can go to your character rank screen and click on the materials and it can show you some sources to farm from.

Edit: I just reread your question and you were talking about the actual lvl. My best advice is to go to a high lvl area that is not the boss and have one character that you will use all the time and can clear the battle quickly while the other are controlled by ai. You can lvl them up quicker that way.

exp items are fairly scarce so will have to level the old fashioned way of going back to outside the hotel to level them up a bit before proceeding to try leveling in other ways. once leveled enough can probably do a Rift run or two.
