Rework Enoki Now
rework enoki please it's ridiculous she takes a hit and loses all her charge she will become a useless character with this very bizarre mechanic you have to think about the player and their fun and not about soulslike mechanics for a gacha rpg game please reconsider rework in this part of taking damage and enoki loses all his charge

She is like greatsword speedrunner in monster hunter. Its by design.
Enoki is great for speedruns. If it's for long dungeon that requires constant heal, I'd recommend using her with passive 1 as npc.
The only change Enoki really needs is how you acquire heat stacks. If they reduced the amount you get for her last hit, and distribute the decreased stacks to her other hits in the string, she'd be much better.

Iroha has a similar issue where you need to use (and land) the last attack in your primary/secondary attack chains to actually build towards her strategy skill.

Enoki is balanced and the devs already said they aren't gonna rework her because they'd have to nerf her damage to compensate. In short, git gud
Learn to parry or use tanks like Mita and Saigo.

What? She just relies on knowing the fight. She makes the game so easy to be honest, she's fine how she is, if anything a lil too strong

unironical skill issue i seen people clear red shark at 40 seconds with enoki. she is a hell of a glass canon. and she is marked as hard to operate. don't listen to people that don't want to learn how to play hard characters

wait until the tension card revamp. enoki will shine alot more once the costs get removed on atk spd etc.
She deals good damage and is manageable, but she does feel awful to play. If enemies can slowly walk out of your attack range mid-combo, something ain't right.

It's just something to get used to. About 10% of her overall damage comes from landing primary/secondary attacks, 50-60% comes from pressing strategic, 30-40% comes from pressing ult.

And her strategic attack locks on. This is the only attack that's mandatory to land. Everything else can whiff and fill the bar for her to use a strategic attack.

Yeah, but that's just boring imo. If I can completely disregard the basic attack button (except for dodge attacks), the loop sucks. Just using Secondary into Strategy on Yo gets boring really quickly as well.

With his first passive boosting his primary attack damage so much, its better to weave in a few of those between strategy skills anyway.

The Enoki loop feels a bit slow, but seeing her chunk a target with a strategy skill is satisfying. I'm not good enough/patient enough to use her in tougher boss fights though, as it becomes too much of a chore to try and alternate her attacks to keep heat up, while also parrying, dodging etc. If they changed it so didn't have to do that...well, it would be broken easy and her numbers would have to be changed to reflect that.
