Beam Eye Tracker

Beam Eye Tracker

Old 2.0 version
I used old 2.0 version that was provided by developer for over 80+ hours with zero problems. Today Beam updated without my permissions to the latest version. I DO NOT want to use latest version, i want to use that old one that worked perfectly fine. Please give the code so i can go back to the older version that worked perfectly fine.

The one i had and i think it was kenneth (on your Discord long time ago while troubleshooting some issues) that provided the code for 2.04 if i'm not mistaken. I used it for a very long time, basically since i bought BeamEyeTracker. It never updated on its own so i was very surprised that it automatically updated to the latest version. I never wanted to update cause that old version was working flawlessly and when i tried to test newer version i once again had weird issues. So i stuck with the old one and it was perfectly fine up until now. Is there any chance i can get that old version back? I don't use or even have Discord anymore, so i can't even go back and look up the code that was provided.

Hi there. This was my fault, sorry. I was doing some cleanup on Steam and accidentally deleted the branch. But the same build is now accessible in a new branch under this code version4cdmconsteam . Please enter that one. The actual version you had was 2.2.1.

Hey! There's no code needed for this, Steam handles versions itself: right-click Beam Eye Tracker in your library > Properties > Betas tab (or "Game Versions & Betas"), and whatever we still have published will show up there to pick from.

Heads up though, the only older version we deliberately keep available as a rollback is 2.5.12, which is newer than the 2.0 build you were on, so 2.0 itself may not be listed. Worth checking the dropdown to see what's actually there.

Also, Steam updates games automatically by default. If you land on a version you're happy with and want to stop this happening again, there's an "Only update this game when I launch it" option under the Updates tab in Properties.
