Lights and infrared illuminator!

Hi, just purchased this app and I'm impressed, particularly due to the modest CPU power required. My experience with other face tracking camera solutions was disappointing mainly due to performance issues.

I am having mostly good results and aside from not having profiles in the app itself it's great. I am contemplating adequate lighting for my face at night and I would be interested in other users solutions. One idea I had was to use an infrared lamp pointing to the ceiling to indirectly light my face. Not sure if this solution would be safe. Has anyone else tried this, or found a better way.

Hi, additional infrared illumination won't make a big difference as Beams uses the regular RGB input from your webcam. Some backlight behind your monitor at night could already show improvements, if you're operating in a very dark environment and experience a decay in performance.
