Beam Eye Tracker

Eye tracking for pointing (Mostly DCS)
I was wandering how this would work with eye tracking and if programs knew where the focus was, for things like moving the mouse pointer. Or just in DSC, look at a switch and press a button to activate it. Is it possible how usable is it, I have good size monitor so not talking about selecting all areas.

I don't think anything is that accurate currently. I tried this for Star Citizen's 3.23 EPTU patch and it worked very well, but in terms of pinpoint accuracy... Eh. Looking at the overlay image, it seemed to recognize the general area very well using my Pixel 7 and performed better than the overlay led me to believe it would. It seems to really only point within a certain square region.

8 minute mark here represents my experiences.

I am using an 85" TV and floor desk that about 7 feet away.

Thanks @Funpire. Maybe to add here is that there is a feature called "Mouse Jumping" that you can use to control your mouse a bit more. In game, we depend on game devs picking up eye tracking to add more interactive features.
