I'm hoping Y8 really, really steps up the endgame content. I mean, I'm really happy that Y7 had grinding, a high level cap, really fun extra DLC classes, and a point to it all (even the option to grind stat drinks if you wanted) and would cry a river if they took that away, but they can't just cheap out on this content if it's gonna be in.
Brilliant decision, though. Ichiban is all about his companions and being personable. A pure action game is a better fit for loner characters. Obviously Yagami is going to be the go-to for that role now.
It seems they know what fans actually want.
I want me some more RPG Yakuza games. And I'm perfectly happy that they've decided one franchise will be RPG and the other will be brawl.
Know what'd be kind of neat? A crossover game in a couple of years. And for kicks, they could split the gameplay evenly between RPG and brawl, depending on the circumstance.
Yeah...which is why the next big Yakuza game "Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth" is a turn based RPG.
You're right. They know what the fans want.
lmao thanks for the free points. the jester reward doesn't mean anything when stating facts however.
So... a new entry in the spin-off series that's meant to keep the brawler combat, the remaster of a game released in 2014, and a game meant to bridge 6 and 8. All of which were released before the 100+ hours mainline game that's being advertised to hell and back and that everyone's talking about, which happens to be in the JRPG format.
Strong argument, no holes.
