corrupt update files

i have been attempting to download the game for a while even when you could only predownload it but when it almost finished downloading i was met with corrupt update files

i updated my laptop and my graphics drivers cleared download cache and deleted any remaining files attempting to redownload it but met with corrupt update files again

help please

went on steam settings, storage, settings for storage then click repair library iirc thats what i did
