Gai Amon Fight Help

Any input? The guy keeps restoring health, and I can't seem to land any heat actions to save my life. I can't seem to break his guard using yakuza or agent style. It's super tedious, and honestly ins't much fun.

took a break from the game and returned to do "unfinished business"....my god : to call this fight a "slog" is an understatement....after trying two 2 times (the second time tried to give it "all"...)....i give up... "fun" this aint...its rather somewhere between strange and grotesque to make it so hard...makes the rest of the game (boss end fights of the main story) like easy peasy "kindergarten"...
