Gaiden Combat vs Lost Judgement Combat??
Hey guys is it me, or is the combat in Gaiden super watered down from the Lost Judgement combat? I LOVED Lost Judgement, especially since it was my first "Yakuza" game, but I can't help but feel like Gaiden fell pretty short from what I experienced in Lost Judgment.. Am I the only one feeling/seeing this? Or am I just unexperienced with the Yakuza games?

I'd say Gaiden is better than Judgment, but worse than Lost Judgment, like, a lot.

Though if LJ was your first Yakuza game.... You kinda peaked with the series from the very start.

Lost Judgment by far feels the best, but if they decide to add one more style for Joryu and touch up on playable Coliseum fighters so they don't feel bare bones, that gap could close significantly.

This is supposed to be a filler game. I was expecting a slightly upgraded version of Kaito Files, and I got exactly what I expected. We can't expect this to be on par with a mainline game like Lost Judgment. And besides, Lost Judgment's combat is in an entire league of its own; it makes every other RGG game look like a joke in comparison

I think LJ is widely regarded to have the best combat in DE. Gaiden is just a filler. You can tell they didn't spend much time polishing the combat system.

Lost Judgement is far more superior in visuals, combat system, story content/characters, cut scenes, nd it runs 25% better then Gaiden which is basically a recycled game from Lost Judgement nd screams incompetence from the devs or leadership at Sega.

Personally, I'd even argue that Kaito Files has superior combat to this game.

id go for lost judgment for me, much better, feels smoother, you can do combos for days , there is quite abit of depth to it. I really enjoyed gaidens but a lot of the moves are hold button which feels kinda clunky after awhile. and dragon stance is kinda bare bones. its like a basic beast mode.

Keep in mind that it was made in 6 months
The only issue with Lj is that yagami doesnt feel nearly as powerful as kiryu but it is more fun and a lot better balanced. Im so used to tiger drop tho
