was tiger drop nerfed?

I feel like in Gaiden Specifically I've been struggling with the Classic Tiger Drop. So I'm wondering, did they make the timing more specific or something? I tried looking online but I'm not seeing many people talk about it. I know in Judgment it was kinda the same and I'm wondering if that's just the case here.

It definitely feels a little harder to me, but there's so much extra BS you can do I haven't tried at all to perfect it like in previous entries.

tiger drop in judgment was beyond busted. Did insane damage, didnt really require you to even look at the enemy, the hitbox was so big it hit dudes behind you, and the window for doing it was the largest it ever was in the series. It being slightly nerfed compared to that is probably for the best.

yeah I only can do it every ten or twenty tries lol which makes me resort to resolute counter or just the block heat attack for Agent style. The timing is kinda whack compared to Judgment
