No New Game+/Premium New Game? or EX-HARD difficulty?
What's the point of limiting everything that you have to finishing everything in 1 gameplay and all the progress all the items and money you gather especially "War God Talisman" if someone managed to finish all the side quest after the story ends (story is short) and won't be able to enjoy all of those skills and items you earned in the main story? Why more and more RGG games keep cutting good content and features of the game out more and more, New Game+ is a mandatory thing for the franchise since the first game ever exist. WHY WOULD YOU REMOVED THEM

I agree. I hope for a free DLC coming with New Game Plus. Fingers crossed.

Also isn't there some super expensive item in Yokohama that would require tons of grinding to purchase? Why do that, i thought it'd be a cool little reward for NG+

Not the first time they dropped this particular ball.

Like a Dragon had a Legendary difficulty, but there was absolutely zero incentive for bothering. No achievement, which is the biggie—how do you overlook this when every other game in the franchise had it? Not even a "you did it!" blurb from an NPC or pop-up box. Absolutely nothing.

Headcanon doesn't cut it in 2020+ with all gaming, including single-player gaming, being a social event. If I spend a hundred hours accomplishing something, I want my friends and strangers who find my profile to be able to tell that it happened. These aren't NES games.

I hope for an update or a free DLC too but I doubt that. because ISHIN KIWAMI has the same cutted content or altered content especially and it's already been a year and they have never update the game or make any DLC for it. I can feel that the game feels that it's has been losing many stuffs since that new producer, Masayoshi Yokoyama, came into the transition and fading OG producer, Toshihiro Nagoshi out. Like a Dragon is the last game he ever involved. This franchise had lost its originality and trying to follow the lower standards games. Now we are seeing the franchise going in the downward direction. I don't even want to start about turn based fighting system drama... cuz everybody already knows it. Now I can't even go back and play ISHIN KIWAMI and Gaiden for enjoying the story with all the hard earned items and equipments the way I played since Y1 to Y6 anymore.
Edit: I finished the story and I play premium adventure to finish side stuffs and earn "War God Talisman" what's the point of it, what will I use it for when I can't carry it over to the New Game+ because it doesn't exist!

PS: They gatekeep the Infinite Wealth New Game+ behind the Deluxe and Ultimate Edition.

Pretty much if they fail once again to give Legendary difficulty any da-- point in that game, like they did in Y7, then I won't have any incentive for playing NG+, which in turn means I won't have any incentive for buying a special edition of the game. I hope they understand this.

Then I can only hope that they will implement the New Game+ in it.

NG+ would be great for a second playtrough. Adventure mode is fine but I like playing campaign more.

I feel the same way and especially how this game is shorter than any RGG games, it definitely should have the New Game+.

Not having an incentive to get that DLC is one of the best things that can happen to RGG8 if you ask me.

This game is meant to be Kaito Files with side stories.

Xuande666 Nov 11, 2023 @ 1:08pm

Kiryu Kazuma Nov 16, 2023 @ 9:22pm
Yep the new update dropped. Still no NG+
Kiryu Kazuma Dec 15, 2023 @ 7:14pm
