Weird jogging instead of running
I've been having this issue for most dragon engine games where instead of doing a full run kiryu just does a little jog and its getting annoying, anyone know a fix?

Your controller dead zones might be a little busted. I had this issue on an old Xbox One controller in K2. If your controller isn't recognizing a full push forward as exactly 100% pushed, even like 99% pushed, then Kiryu will not sprint, just jog. You can check if that's the case in the Steam Input settings and then just make the outer ring smaller.

Check your controller settings. Analog stick deadzones probably aren't set right in the default setup. Kiryu is only supposed to jog if you push just a little on the stick, and run if you push all the way.

Yeah I kinda forgot to say this here, but I just set up deadzones and that fixed it instantly

This is a switch controller issue, happens to me too. It's probably got to do with how steam captures the input. If you go to the control panel in windows, you'll see how the buttons are firing constantly.

Just make deadzones for your controllers, fixes it instantly

It doesn't. I tried.
What does fix it for me is disconnecting and reconnecting the controller whenever it happens.
