Silver Sponsored Match?

I know I'm supposed to talk to a sponsor in the Lobby of the Coliseum, but I've done all the bronze matches, gotten to Gold rank, and even done a couple of those. And he just doesn't show up. Is it story linked? I'm at the Chapter 2 point where my next goal is to go see Mizorogi.

i think you got to unlock platinum so the presidents could show up at the vip lounge and coliseum, you have a long way ahead buddy, i've finished the platinums except for a few in special matches (mr try and hit me only offers bronze fight idk why) and few plat matches on team rumble since some of them are quite ridiculous so i have to level up most of my fighters

only problem is mr try and hit me, he's not that hard but idk how to trigger the silver and golden matches with him, therefore i cant start my golden and platinum sponsored matches

You have to meet Mr Try And Hit Me in the gambling hall to unlock his special battle event, complete it and it should unlock the silver sponsored match

You have to go back to Sotenbori to have access to your phone to get some of the messages for these things. (I didn't realize that myself earlier)

Ok, was in the same situation and just got to chapter 4. At one point during this chapter, the presidents show up at the Coliseum reception.

The silver is outside the reception area.
The gold is in the VIP lounge as is the Platinum one.

The Try and Hit me guys are in both casinos (one for each).
