I did some quick analysis using AMD performance logging tool, playing both games with the goal of just running around the map in night time.
With the exact same visual configuration, Lost Judgment had 24.52% better overal fps then Like a Dragon Gaiden. During my observation for this test, I noticed that, Lost Judgment has immensely more NPC on the map, while Like A Dragon Gaiden has shockingly almost none, the map was basically empty in Like a Dragon Gaiden, you see a few police officers standing, but even then it performed horrible for no reason during the test.
I made an google excel sheet, with the performance log data containing benchmark results, system spec and visual preset that was used. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1zDkovulvxEk4NjMy_dFYeluX190CQvj2MLoiwKoCCOQ/edit?usp=sharing
In essence, Lost Judgment runs 24.52 % better, while Like a Dragon Gaiden looks the same in general with 90% no npc on the map during the test.
This is a clear lack of optimization from the devs nd they knew this obviously, and no one should consider to buy such a game. They are selling unfinished product, that has been recycled multiple times, while increasing the actual file size, nd also resulting in a significant performance hit, and its really a bad trend, that should not get support no matter how you look at it.
L;ost Judgement is nearly 3 years old, made for a completely different generation, of course it runs better on lower spec hardware.
It's like crying that you can't run StarField on the same PC you ran Oblivion on because they use the same game engine.
What an incompetence, your sole argument is just that a game is old ? We have seen very old games that are technically nd visually far advanced then newer games, so your argument about being 3 year old is absolutely void.
You talk about low speck but you seem underdeveloped to understand the specifics of the topic, nd then you go to Starfield comparison to justify your void argument which has no logic or baseline to add to the contention that is been discussed , you are hereby dismissed, your are incompetent to talk about this, you remain the average clown.
Another uneducated claim about being 3 years old and therefore is not significant to discuss about ?
Both titles use same tech, they are pretty identical in what they do, nd how they present them self visually, but yet the latest iteration (Gaiden) based on a solid build foundation ( Lost Judgment) seems to have a significant performance hit at 24.52 % which can not be justified by the visual fidelity Gaiden offfers, which also lacks an environment filled with NPC nd still under perform at 24.52% nd still have a bigger file size.
Its very clear, these devs have been very comfortable in recycling games, but now it gets even worse, new recycled games run worse then their previous iteration nd they are bigger in file size.
There is just too many redflags, to even consider to buy this game. Its highly advised to avoid this trend.
They aren't pretty much identical visually looking. The game is optimized. Damn well optimized. It looks better than Lost Judgment when compared between each equivalent setting with the same performance so long as u're meeting the specs. How about u figure out where ur bottle neck actually is? A lot of what u bring up isn't actually telling us isn't any important information.
You should. FSR even fixes some graphical bugs (flickering). With your hardware you should not be picky.
Redflag my *ss.
Perfectly enjoying it with my RTX3060ti on high settings at 120 frames with no drops.
Dropping all those technicalities and condescending attitude aint gonna prove that it varies from PC to PC.
Sure go ahead dont buy and cry about its not complete and yada yada people are enjoying it and we're so sorry you are not part of it too bad. SKILL ISSUE.
