Please stop with these wierdly long japanese titles!
SEGA finally took the long japanese tradition to give very long weird titles to things.
Please, I beg you to stop! This is only the first game so we will forgive you but please don't make it a habit.
If they continue in this destructive path, what will the other games be called?

I dunno if you noticed but the Name in Japanese is really short(名を消した男, Na wo Keshita Otoko), its just that when translated there is no way to properly convey the japanese meaning in a shorter sentence.
Guess what? It's a Japanese developer.

The Japanese title isn't any shorter than the English one and uses the same number of syllables (taking devoicing into account).

Ryu Ga Gotoku (Gaiden): "Codename: Joryu" could've been perfect ngl, but the "Bowie vibes" putted in the translation "The man who (sold the world) erased his name" are just perfect too ... is it just a trending? maybe, but they've been calling every game RGG1, 2, 3 etc, wich is functionally... but this is a nomura kinda of insert in the series xD, so is good to have something different this time; just be happy that is not called like those isekai animes that only reading the name is a skip

Yeah I'm at least glad we are nowhere like those titles.
I hope they will never come in games.
Imagine asking a friend: Hey! Have you played "How to rescue your childhood friend who was last spotted heading inside a dungeon infested by mobs, traps and treasures!"

who is "we"?

I personally prefer that they switched to "Like A Dragon" over the old localised name "Yakuza" as it's more in line with the japanese version and doesn't force it to be related to the actual japanese mafia

Who cares?

Exactly, There are words that are far longer and more difficult to read and pronounce, like this welsh village called Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch ;p
