Denuvo + Yongyea voicing Kiryu = no chance in hell i'd buy this game

Yeah. might skip buying Yakuza games as much as I love the series. I do not want my money to go to people like YongYea and continuous drive to the series downfall, not even in a bargain bin is worth spending any amount of money if it means putting food on a youtuber's plate for voice acting in a video game.

eh, a non-issue
in all honesty Yakuza dubs are pretty mid at best, I personally played Y7 in dub since i wanted to try it out and it was not great, but not exactly terrible, I heard much worse dubs in my lifetime. Play with japanese voiceovers if you don't mind reading, way better experience.

Yeah I do the same since I generally prefer to listen to the native language whether it be for movies or games but it is a little odd considering they got the OG voice actor for Kiryu back for Yakuza 7 only to immediately replace him in the next game.

Also YongYea is a very....interesting choice to put it lightly.

That's the way it goes I guess, we don't always know what goes on behind the scenes.
