Bugged Nostrianisches Bastard Sword?

I found the Nostrian Bastard Sword in the Pirate Cave on Manrek Island, and successfully identified it. The History for it says that it has a spell on it that makes it unbreakable.
However, when I right-clicked on it to learn more mechanical details, it showed "Sound" and "Excellent" rather than "Unbreakable". And sure enough, during use, it broke.

I understand that not all magical weapons are supposed to be unbreakable, but when the history text says that it's supposed to be unbreakable, shouldn't that actually be the case?
Or did the devs just copy-paste the text from a writer without actually checked if the stats reflected the text?
