Black Mage Tower Ruins South of Thoss

I am at the top of the spiral staircase and there seems to be no way to continue. How do I get to the third level?

You passed the "flying platforms", went downstairs part of the wall on the west side is an illusion. The leftmost character is your group leader is tested if he/she can detect that.
Go near the wall several times or put another character in the first position.

Yes, I did all of that and clicked to enter the next level and wound up in a stairwell with a spiral staircase. It took me the better part of an hour to get up those stairs, and there is nothing up there. Where should I go from there?

I know off 3 Levels, One where you enter, oner with the platforms and one where you end in an room that is shaped similar to an 8 with the stairs in the lower ring of the 8. West of the stairs is th illusional wall. but probably i think of the wrong spot.

O.K. I found the problem. You don't go up the spiral staircase; you turn around and go down through a fake wall. Thanks for the help.
