Identifying magic weapons

I couldn't find this in the manual, but how do you identify magic weapons?

1) cast Breath of Magic (this spell will mark any item in all your party members inventories as magical, if such item does exist)
2) It is advised to move such items (should be blue-margined in the inventory) to the inventory of the caster
3) Now cast Analytica, this time the spell should show up list of magical, but not-identified items, select from the list. If successful, you should now see extra attributes of the magical item
