Dishes and cuttlery
Hi everyone , i was wondering if anyone knows if the items in the tittle actually do something ? , its really hard to find any real info on them , are they just miscellaneous items or do they help in any way ? , i like the idea of carrying those items for my adventurers but dishes are expensive as hell right now :)

Thanks in advance for any info .

In hard-core rules, yes they do reduce chance of getting sick (disease).
In-game, nope, you can live without dishes and cutlery.

You need blankets (or sleeping bag during cold seasons), extra shoes/boots (as those might eventually wear off), and for random encounters:
horn or pitcher (so you can use some fresh water springs)
drinking sack (or two) per person
Rations
Alchemy set (if you have receipts and ingredients)
many herbs (so you can cure poison and disease with skills)
Rope (for climbing)
Optionally some hook(s)
Fishing net (when you stumble upon a freshwater fish pond)
sweets (to lure some unaware wild animals for various reasons)
Lickorish (as above)
Tinderbox + torches (for dungeoneering)

Hi Karol thanks for the info , im guessing with hardcore you mean professional difficulty which is the one im playing , right now i have mostly all the basics , will need to get a winter robe now as i just got my first decease from the cold hehe .

Good to know that they work , its going to be a big investment , i believe i saw the dishes going for 7 ducats on Thorwal , unfortunately i have no alchemy recipes yet so im holding of on the set till i find one :)

I had no clue that sweets help with hunting guess ill write them down next time im in a big town , didint know about the horns either , nice that so many things have actual uses .
