Does Iron Man mode give me any bonuses?

Lately I'd say it's more often done without bonuses. Xcom, Hardcore mode in Diablo (and all diablo clones) are recent examples. I think Warlords (old pc game) gave you bonus xp for doing it.

It's just for the challenge though. Your bonus would be unlocking the achievement for beating it on Ironman I guess.

Might want to go through regular first anyway give them time to sort out bugs that could potentially get you stuck if there are any.

Never played a game where iron man wasn't simply a restriction, self-imposed or via in-game option, with the only benefit being a gain to e-peen for completing it that way.

Or there are people who play games to have a challenge and dont want fly to the end for the sake of completion. At some point in HC-modes, roguelikes or Ironman i get my ass handed, but the gaming experience itself for me was more intense than some load-save-cycles or building characters to solely do damage.

@Gabbelgak, hardcore mode in diablo gives you unique drops that only hardcore characters can use......

I guess that was patched in after I quit playing each of the three as I certainly don't remember that at launch.
