Conquistador achievement?
When do you exactly betray your allies? I've attacked Tenochtitlan and won all the battles (road, palace, garden) and I don't have an option to attack the chieftain who becomes a new emperor. Does it depend on killing / leaving the Emperor decision? Or the one if you want the chieftain to go with you for garden battle? Seems stupid to me, I wanted the chieftain to come with me just to have him close and kill him once I kill the Emperor of Aztecs.

IIRC you have to have the fort fully built to get the option to betray.

My fortress is fully built. I got the "Stronghold" achievement. How is the option to betray done? With who should I talk?

Things I did:
-Helped Aztec Emperor with gathering food from one of the villages
-Failed Silence Coyotl because I had no interest in doing it
-Failed clandestine diplomacy because I didn't want to help the Emperor too much
-Helped with everything Totonac wanted
-Built the fortress and upgraded it to max lvl
-Told Noriega in fortress that first we help Totonac get rid of Aztecs, then we turn against Totonac and claim capital city of Aztec Empire for Kingdom of Spain
-Went to attack the capital with Totonac
-Won all three battles

I have no idea where is the moment to betray. After garden battle and killing the Emperor there's a feast goal and once completed the next goal is "Return to Spain". I've tried visiting the fortress after the battle of Tenochtitlán but there's also no way to order an attack on Tenochtitlán with Noriega or his men. Before the battle in garden, the Emperor said that I will turn against Totonac quicker than they expect but I simply don't know how.

I believe it's during the feast?
Also, how many men do you have in your fort? I think you need 1500.

354 men in the fort and it's said to be over a half of places in barracks.

Okay, it has to be 500 troops in the fortress. I've just finished the game. Such a great experience with so many possibilities. I was finally able to betray them both and conquer the land for the King of Spain :AOEKnight:
